This describes the changes in the following release:

Release 5.0 Build 528/530 is the first released build of NEO Pro 5.
For a full listing of what is included in this new version, please see the What's New.

When upgrading from NEO Pro 4 a rebuild of the catalog is needed before this version can be used: within NEO go to Application Button | Catalog | Rebuild Catalog.

Description

This section is for users who participated in our Beta program.
First of all, a hearty thank you to all of you who helped with our testing, made product suggestions and reported defects. We were not able to implement all suggestions or fix all reported defects. However, we have logged all of your input for future release consideration.

This latest build can be installed over an already installed beta version of release 5.0. If you are running beta build 515 or before you will need to rebuild the catalog after upgrading to the final version.
You can continue to use your beta license until November 15, 2010. On expiry you can obtain a regular 60 day evaluation license.
When installing this release for the first time a 60 day evaluation license will be obtained.
Once the evaluation period is over a permanent v5 license is needed to continue to use the product. Licensed NEO Pro 3.x or 4.x users can purchase an upgrade license here.


What's new in build 528:

This is the inaugural release of NEO Pro version 5.0.
Some minor changes have been made based on feedback and final testing of the product. All beta users are strongly advised to download and install this final build and install over their current beta version to avoid unwanted beta effects.

Furthermore the following minor improvements were implemented.

Improvements
- When editing a Note (Ctrl+Alt+N), it is now possible to insert a date/time stamp through the right-click menu.
- Colors used in Conversation View for parent and underlying messages can now be defined by going to Tools | Options | Format tab. Also the original default colors are listed to revert back easily.
- The upgrade link on the Help | License screen contains an 'Upgrade Now' button which selects automatically the correct upgrade on the webshop.
- New shortcut: Alt+V to toggle Conversation View on/off.

Issues addressed
The following issues have been resolved:
- When Noted folder was removed from the Hot View, it reappeared after restarting NEO Pro.
- Starting NEO Pro in toolbar layout a small line showed through between toolbars and tabs.
