How to activate NEO licenses without internet connection

Background
After purchasing a license for NEO Pro or NEO Find the license needs to be activated through the Help | License menu within NEO using an active internet connection to obtain the activation code.
When a computer is not connected to the internet, following procedure will allow off-line activation through another (internet connected) system.
How to activate a license using another system
To activate the license with the help of another internet connected system, follow these steps:
On the system where the license needs to be activated open the Help | License menu and copy/paste the license information
Press 'Activate' (twice) to start the activation process
At this point NEO will try to connect to the internet to process the activation; as no internet connection is available an error will be returned
In the error dialog press 'OK' to launch a web browser to activate the license manually. After pressing 'OK' two things will happen:
- A web browser will start trying to connect to the licensing server
- NEO will open a dialog screen to enter the activation code manually - this can be cancelled for now
Go to the web browser and copy the entire URL into a text file
Bring this text file to an internet connected system, launch a web browser and copy/paste the entire string as URL address
This URL will connect to the licensing server and return in the browser the License Activation Key
Save this entire License Activation Key in a text file and bring this file back to the original machine
Launch now once again the license activation process, and click 'OK' to launch manual license activation as described above:
- Ignore the web browser being launched
- Open the text file with the License Activation Key and copy/paste this entire key into the NEO dialog screen for manual license activation
Press 'OK' to finalize this special license activation process
