Outlook does not start when starting from Start menu or clicking desktop icon

Problem When NEO is running, Outlook may not start if started from the Windows Start menu or from an Outlook desktop icon.
Resolution Outlook will always start if you start it from within NEO. There are several ways to do this within NEO including such as clicking the Outlook icon on the NEO toolbar.
Alternatively, you can configure Outlook to always start a new session when you click it. If you configure Outlook in this way, Outlook will always start outside of NEO. Here are the steps:
Right-click the Outlook shortcut and choose Properties.
Click the Shortcut tab.
Click into the field Target and locate '/recycle'
Remove '/recycle' from the field.
Removing this setting prevents Outlook from using the same instance each time a request to start Outlook is made.
